Thinking these questions through will help to reach your goals when it time to sell. Weather it is speed of sale or maximizing your equety or somewhere in the middle. Knowing ahead of time helps as we put together a game plan.
Prepare your home for the buyer you want
Maximize the strengths of your property and fix up its weaknesses. Try to remember why you fell in love with your home.
You want the buyer to walk away from your home with a lasting good impression that will draw them back.
Find a good real estate agent
Make sure that your agent is loyal to you, understands the current market and can negotiate to help you achieve your goals. In addition, your agent should be assertive and honest with both you and the buyers agent or buyer.
Negotiate for the best price and the best terms
Find an agent who can help you understand how to deal with an offer based on your goals and can make suggestions or recommendations and is working hard as a team with you. How you deal with an offer or counter offer to get maximum value is important. Talk with your agent in advance about this and possible stratigies.
Make sure the contract is accurate and complete
